I agree with Brian Holman. I would love to see some roundabouts like the ones in Edgewater (they have 3 - 2 on W 20th Ave and 1 on Pierce St). They are a great way to calm traffic and provide refuges for pedestrians to cross the streets. Both W 20th Ave in Lakewood and Pierce Street in Lakewood show drivers regularly exceeding the speed limit and running the red lights. The roundabouts really help to bring the speed down to a safe level and eliminate the need for expensive traffic signals.

As someone that lives right near the border of Lakewood and Edgewater. I appreciate Lakewood working with Edgewater to maintain their traffic devices. An interesting thing I've noticed is that Edgewater has been building more roundabouts. I wonder if it would make sense to install some more of these in Ward 2 where applicable, so that we could reduce the lifetime cost of our infrastructure. Thanks for making our streets safer.
